First Day of Practice and Sports Performance Options
With the start of the season less than 2 months away, it’s time to start getting into shape, if you haven’t already! Coach Smeltzer will be offering conditioning for all track girls in the Warehouse from 4 to 5 on Mondays and Fridays starting January 4th (first day back to school). You must have your athletic physical and concussion paperwork turned in to the Athletic office before you can participate. The first day of practice is Tuesday, February 16th…what are you doing to get ready?
Thanks to everyone that gave their time during break to give back to our community by ringing bells for the salvation army. Heard the singing was pretty good too!
Congratulations to Goshen’s

All State – 9th Place
The MISSION of the Goshen High School Track and Field Team, a family of strong young adults, dedicated and caring coaches, and unheralded support personnel, is to ensure all student athletes acquire knowledge and apply skills to conquer the challenges of competition in track and field so as to gain the ability to conquer the challenges of life – enhancing tomorrow’s opportunities.
We will come together as a team united, with an expectation to rise above all others. We will set high goals and achieve them by seeking the “COMPETITIVE SPIRIT” within ourselves, going beyond the breaking point that differentiates us from the rest.
We will respect each other, and carry that respect towards opponents, officials and authority. We will utilize our resources to continually improve ourselves spiritually, academically and athletically, understanding that service is our purpose. As our wisdom increases so does our leadership skills. We will be positive role models for our future REDHAWKS. In building on the traditions laid down before us, we will plan, prepare, and compete, maximizing our efforts to show the appreciation for the talents for which we have been blessed. Ultimately, through passion, discipline, desire and heart, we will CONQUER OUR GOALS and opportunities.
Relentlessly pursue and win the NLC Championship.
Take the student-athlete where he/she cannot take themselves.
Our Program is based on the values of family, successful attitudes and team chemistry.
We believe in honesty, integrity, strength of character, care and confidence.
We embrace a commitment to excellence, loyalty, selflessness, trust and humility.
We teach overcoming adversity, establishing priorities, goal setting and the value of diversity.
The Redhawk Track and Field family is where there are shared responsibilities, care, and discipline, and an absence of special privileges.
